Education is a key element of Dr. Kristina’s practice. Since she’s the sole owner of the practice, she takes ample time to set patients up to achieve a healthy smile that lasts a lifetime. That’s the goal at Oasis Wellness Dentistry—forming a healthy treatment plan that the patient is part of. Along with dental assistant Cambria Hollingsworth, the team takes the time to talk about your brushing and flossing habits.
Every six months, during a preventive visit, you’ll receive a professional cleaning and polishing, images will be taken of your teeth and mouth with a 3D panoramic scanner and intraoral camera, and Dr. Kristina will also perform a thorough cancer screening. The hygienist will go over the best brushing and flossing practices.

Early detection is important in mouth and throat cancer, which has been on the rise over the years. Dr. Kristina will thoroughly inspect your mouth to detect signs of cancer or pre-cancerous conditions and lesions. Risk factors for oral cancer include tobacco use, heavy alcohol consumption, and sun exposure.
A picture is worth a thousand words. The more precise the imaging, the better the outcomes. Dr. Kristina has invested in top-of-the-line a 3D panoramic scanner and intraoral camera to allow us to take accurate images of your teeth, gums, and bite.
We make every possible effort to see people the same day they have a critical issue such as an infection or cracked or broken tooth. Just give us a call.
If your tooth is cracked, broken, or knocked out, or if you have sudden pain, bleeding, or swelling, you should see Dr. Kristina right away.
Dr. Kristina takes the time to find out about each patient’s brushing and flossing habits, providing tips for improving them and touching on things to avoid, like smoking, candy, and sodas. But even with good brushing habits, decay can creep in. If decay is detected, they will do a filling, with a tooth-colored composite, that saves the integrity of the tooth.
For both esthetics and function, missing teeth should be replaced. A dental bridge consists of crowns that fit over existing teeth on either side of the missing tooth or teeth. Depending on a patient’s needs, she can perform a traditional bridge that attaches to existing teeth with metal wings or create an implant-supported bridge that’s attached through implants.
She creates a precise model of your crown using the intraoral camera. First, she removes enamel on the existing tooth to provide a base for the crown, which is matched to the color of your teeth. The treatment process requires two appointments: during the first one she will take an impression of the tooth that goes to a lab to create the permanent crown and place a temporary crown on the tooth. During the second visit, she will remove the temporary crown and place the permanent one with dental cement.
Bruxism, or grinding your teeth in your sleep, can take a toll on damaging teeth. Dr. Kristina recommends if you suffer from this condition to wear a nightly guard. Playing sports can also open you up to injury. There’s a big difference between boil-and-bite mouthguards you’d buy at a sporting goods store and ones that are custom-fit. She will take an impression of your teeth, and then send that to a lab for fabrication.
Another treatment for bruxism, or clenching, is Botox. Dr. Kristina injects into the masseter muscle of the jaw. This reduces nerve signals to lessen the ability to clench.
